St. Louis Battlehawks Re-Sign Star EDGE Travis Feeney

St. Louis Battlehawks Re-Sign Star EDGE Travis Feeney

There aren’t many veterans in the spring space who have had stronger careers than Travis Feeney. At 33 years old, he’s decided to make another run with the St. Louis Battlehawks – officially re-signing for the 2026 UFL season.

Travis Feeney has been a staple in the spring football scene. He played in the AAF with the San Diego Fleet, totaling 30 tackles and an interception in eight weeks. From there, Feeney made the move to the CFL, spending one season with the Toronto Argonauts.

In 2022, Travis made his way back to the States. He played in the USFL with the Tampa Bay Bandits, and had an excellent campaign with 50 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 10 games.

After his success in the USFL, Travis decided to jump to the XFL in 2023. He signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks, and the rest has been history. Feeney has instantly become one of the most loved players on the team – and for good reason. He’s been actively involved with the community since signing, and has a legitimate base of fans who show up to games to support him.

Feeney’s been a true standout with St. Louis as well. In 2023, he had 32 tackles and five sacks, including a couple of fumble recoveries that were crucial in wins.

During the 2024 UFL season, Travis continued to play an important role for the Battlehawks. He started in all 10 games, posting 38 tackles, seven TFL’s, and five sacks.

Feeney was a major piece in Donnie Abraham’s defense once again this past campaign. He boasted an impressive 80.9 Defensive Grade, via PFF, with 35 tackles, three sacks, 22 QB pressures, and 22 defensive stops to his name.

He’s aging like fine wine in the UFL – getting better with each and every season. Travis is as explosive as he was at 23, and is as good a run stopper as he is a pass rusher. There aren’t many players in this league who defend both at such a high level.

Travis was nominated for UFL Sportsman of the Year in 2025, and earned that award as well. Now, the St. Louis Battlehawks retain not just a fan favorite, but one of their top playmakers from the past few seasons in The Lou.
