USFL Releases New Promo For Upcoming Season

During the final Thursday Night Football broadcast of the season for FOX, we saw the network air their first promo for the USFL. Since then, we’ve seen  healthy dose of promos, giving fans a slow build to the upcoming season.’

With less than six weeks to go until kickoff, FOX has released a brand new promo for the league.

The latest shows the buildup from when the league was announced to where we are today. We hear a montage of clips from various sports talk shows discussing the new league, ending off with a promo for the inaugural game between the Birmingham Stallions and New Jersey Generals. Which, if you weren’t aware, is set to be simulcast on both FOX and NBC.

This is expected to be a big week for the USFL. Thursday night the league is set to host their supplemental draft, where each team will finalize their rosters for the upcoming season. The event kicks off at 7pm ET, and the USFL social media teams will be announcing all of the picks live as they did in the inaugural draft.

Additionally, the guys over at The USFL Podcast will be hosting live draft coverage over on YouTube, which is set to begin at 6:30pm ET.

Although the league has been dropping major announcements nearly every week this year, there’s still two items on everyone’s wish list; the schedule and rulebook. With training camp set for later this month, we fully expect the ruleset to be announced before March 23rd. As for the 2022 USFL schedule, we expect it to be released any day now. Definitely sooner than later.
