We have another trade in the UFL, this time between the Birmingham Stallions and Arlington Renegades. Both players are new signings, with DB Jayden Price and DE Jeremiah Martin joining the fold for the 2025 UFL season.

DB Jayden Price | Arlington Renegades
On Wednesday, Jayden Price signed his UFL contract – which the league announced was with Birmingham. However, we were told (as first reported by Michael Del Negro) that Price would be playing with Arlington, causing some confusion.
What ultimately happened here is that Price had to sign with Birmingham, first, because they held his rights. Due to the offseason setup in the UFL, each team is allotted four NFL franchises to claim players from. Jayden Price was recently with the Atlanta Falcons – which is a team that the Stallions hold the rights to.
Per multiple sources, the @XFLRenegades will be acquiring DB Jayden Price, who just signed with the @USFLStallions.

With that now behind us, Jayden Price is officially with the Arlington Renegades. He’s the first offseason addition to their secondary, as Arlington had only re-signed DB’s up to this point.
Price played his college football at North Dakota State. Across his time there, Price posted 107 tackles, three interceptions, and 17 PBU’s. Jayden also has experience as a punt returner, with 910 yards and five touchdowns to his name in that category.

He’s had a couple of pro opportunities, firstly with the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. He was let go back in August. This led to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL bringing him up north, but Price was released from the practice squad earlier this month. Jayden clearly has potential at this level, and will now look to prove himself in UFL Training Camp with Arlington.
DE Jeremiah Martin | Birmingham Stallions
On the other side, the Birmingham Stallions acquired EDGE Jeremiah Martin, who brings some much needed depth to the defensive line. With the losses of Dondrea Tillman and Jonathan Garvin, the Stallions were relatively thin at the position.
Now, GM Zach Potter brings in a young and talented DE – one with some legitimate NFL experience – to help fill that void.
Jeremiah Martin began his college career at Texas A&M. Across three seasons there, he was primarily a rotational piece, with just 11 tackles to his name.

When Martin transferred to Washington, he was able to make a name for himself during his senior season. Jeremiah had 41 tackles and an impressive 8.5 sacks that year. This led to an NFL opportunity with the Browns, signing as an UDFA.
Martin has posted some excellent preseason numbers with the Browns, and also the Giants. Across the past two preseasons, Jeremiah has 13 tackles and three sacks. He was released by the Browns this past August during cut downs.

Now, he’ll look to continue his professional career in the UFL, with the Birmingham Stallions.
Final Thoughts
Generally speaking, this trade seems pretty equal for both sides. Arlington was a bit thin at DB, as they haven’t re-signed Ajene Harris, Tenny Adewusi, Myles Dorn, or Darren Evans yet. Meanwhile, Birmingham bringing in an EDGE makes the most sense in this scenario.
