Green Bay Packers Sign Renegades K Lucas Havrisik

It’s never too late for a UFL player to receive an NFL opportunity. The Green Bay Packers have signed Dallas Renegades kicker, Lucas Havrisik, in the wake of an injury in their specialist room.

Lucas Havrisik is the third kicker that the Renegades have had over the last three seasons. He replaced Jonathan Garibay this past offseason, and served Arlington (now called Dallas) with consistent play.

Lucas made 22 of 25 field goal attempts this year in the UFL (88.0%). His longest kick of the year was from 54 yards out, with two of his three misses coming from 40+ yards away.

Havrisik kicked the ball off 53 yards for 3,222 yards, with just seven touchbacks on the year. Three out of bounds kicks hurt his final stat-line, but Lucas did boast a strong 60.8 yards per kick.

Lucas is no stranger to the NFL. Havrisik ended up signing with the Indianapolis Colts in 2022, as an UDFA. He’s spent time with the Browns, Rams, and Bills since that original opportunity in Indianapolis. With the Rams, Havrisik saw some legitimate playing time, making 15 of his 20 field goal attempts – with a long of 52 yards.

He attracted some NFL attention over the past couple of months, working out with the Colts, Giants, and Packers – and now lands in Green Bay. It’s unclear as to whether or not he will start, with Brandon McManus’ status up in the air.

Without the national platform that the UFL provided him with, who knows if this opportunity would have been made possible. You can stay up to date on all UFL to NFL movement with our official tracker.
