Fans have been asking about preseason games, and until now it seemed that it was going to be limited to joint practices during the training camp. Howard Balzer (590thefan.com) has just tweeted that the XFL will hold four preseason games at TDECU Stadium.
As The Alliance did last year in San Antonio, XFL will have 4 preseason games near end of camp at TDECU Stadium (U. of Houston). Jan. 20 DC vs. Seattle, 10 am; Dallas vs. St. Louis, 3:30 pm. Jan. 21 Los Angeles vs. Houston, 10 am; Tampa Bay vs. New York, 3:30 pm.

January 20th we’ll see the DC Defenders vs the Seattle Dragons at 10am. Then at 3:30pm the Dallas Renegades take on the St. Louis BattleHawks. The preseason is a two day event. Kicking off the games on the 21st is the Los Angeles Wildcats vs the Houston Roughnecks. Then the Tampa Bay Vipers end it off against the New York Guardians.
At the time of publication there is no information on if these events will be open to the public. Additionally, we’re not sure that these will be televised, and I would guess that they may not be. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
