XFL reportedly close to deal with Starter

The XFL has put out a teaser for their official game ball, stating that a reveal is coming Monday morning. This has left fans wondering when we’re going to see the uniforms. Luck stated that uniforms would be coming in the next few weeks at the Training Camp press conference last week.

Now it seems we have some more information, at least for off-field gear.

According to Front Office Sports the XFL is finalizing a deal with athletic apparel brand Starter. It’s said that Starter is to design and supply the off-the-field apparel for the eight XFL teams. Starter previously manufactured the uniforms for the now-defunct AAF.

Front Office Sports clarifies that their sources say that the XFL is also working on a separate deal for an on-field uniform supplier. It was rumored back in early October that Adidas may be the main uniform supplier for the league when someone posted an image of what was said to be a Vipers prototype jersey. We’re getting closer to the official announcement, so we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
