The time is here, the moment a lot of us have been waiting for. The XFL app has officially been released on the Google Play Store and iTunes. It was first released on iTunes yesterday, leaving a lot of fans wondering when the Android version would be released. The app is still in the process of being rolled out, so if you don’t see it in your app store, just check a little later.
There has been relatively little news in regards to the XFL app. Nobody really knew what was going to be included, until now. Key features include:
- Latest news and videos from around the XFL
- Real-time scores, stats, and scoring plays
- Up-to-date team and player stats and league standings
- Team rosters and schedules
- Opportunity to join the XFL Football Advisory Network (F.A.N.)
- Gameday updates and stadium information
- XFL merchandise store
- Purchase and management of gameday digital tickets
One of the most intriguing features, to me at least, is the ability to tie your tickets to the app. This is going to make it ultra convenient when going to the games (as long at you have a signal). You’ll also be able to order concessions and scout the parking lots. This is all on top of getting real-time updates during the game and exclusive content and interviews from around the league.
We’re just a couple days out from kickoff and now that the app is out I’m even more excited.
