We already knew the XFL had reach out to TDECU, as well as CenturyLink (Seattle) and The Dome (St. Louis), but we know now that an agreement has been made.
At this time is’s hard to say when the Roughnecks would return to Houston. One of the plans on the table for the league to return in 2021 is to host all XFL games out of one location with a 12-week tournament. Unless Houston is chosen as the sole location, it may not be until 2022 when we see the Houston Roughnecks back on their home home field.
Once we get more information, we’ll make sure to keep you updated. Which other XFL teams would you like to see return? Which teams would you like to see re-locate? Let us know down in the comments below or join the conversation on Discord.
