We’re inching closer to XFL kickoff each minute, and the excitement is building across the internet. Well, we have something to add to the excitement, at least if you’re in the Houston area.
The Roughnecks have announced that they will be hosting a Season Kickoff Party with FOX this Thursday (2/6) at Pitch 25 Beer Park. The event goes from 6-7:30pm and has limited capacity. If you’re in the area, we strongly suggest you attend, just make sure you RSVP as seats are running out fast.
This is a huge event for people in the Houston area. Not only are we getting a kickoff party, not only are we getting Team President Brian Michael Cooper… Not only are we getting Head Coach June Jones…. We’re going to be greeted by FOX Broadcasters Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt, as well as the Roughnecks Radio Team John Granato and Nate Griffen! This is HUGE!!
We’ve attended all of the Roughnecks fan engagements to date, and these are a great way to learn about the league from the people building it from the ground up. Add to the fact that it’s just a few days shy of when the Roughnecks will take on the Wildcats in the second XFL game of the 2020 season. This is going to be a party, and you won’t want to miss it.
