Throughout the last several months, we have seen plenty of XFL talent going to the NFL. Multiple XFL players have been signed to NFL active rosters, or practice squads. Niswander has finally received the NFL attention he deserved, which is fantastic to see. In the XFL’s short season he was outstanding, averaging 46.8 yards per punt. He also handled most of the kickoffs for the team. With his amazing talent at the punting and kicking position, it isn’t a surprise to see him land on the Cowboys practice squad.

While he isn’t on the active roster quite yet, this is a major step forward for Hunter, and we couldn’t be happier for him. A couple months ago we had the opportunity to interview Niswander about his time in the XFL, and what his plans were going forward with football. If you’d like to watch that, you can do so here.
