The USFL is set to return in 2022 and we’re waiting for the rapid fire of announcements that are expected to kick off the new year. As it stands, we know some of the executives, all eight team names and logos and that the league is set to have every game of the season televised across both FOX and NBC networks. The deal with NBC will see the USFL receive rights fees, which is huge for the startup; not to mention the deal is for three seasons.
There’s still a lot that the league needs to reveal between now and April, but some fans have taken it into their own hands to put their spin on the new USFL. Luis Fernando (@nagiants40) is one of those fans. He recently rolled out concepts for all eight of the upcoming USFL franchises, with variants included.
We haven’t seen the uniforms from the league just yet, but if they’re anything like the concepts that Luis cooked up, we’re in good shape. To give you a sample, here’s a few images from the collection that he’s shared on Twitter.
