The Spring League Reveals Rosters For South Division Teams

The Spring League Week 4 South Division Transactions

Week 4 kicked off this past Thursday in Indianapolis, the South Division is set to play later this afternoon. With action right around the corner, the league has revealed the transactions for its Southern Division teams.

Unlike the North, all teams in the South have movement this week. Let’s take a look and see who is going where.

Sea Lions

The Sea Lions will be looking to rebound from it’s week 3 loss, and there’s doing so by making a flurry of adjustments. Joining the franchise is offensive linemen Jake Lacina, running back Aca’Cedric Ware, defensive end Jonathan Kongbo, tight end Erik Swoops, quarterback Ben Holmes and kicker Garrett Hartley.

You may remember Hartley as part of the Saints Super Bowl winning team. He was also set to join the Seattle Dragons last year, but was not cleared by the league doctors.

Leaving the Sea Lions is defensive linemen Nick Williams, wide receiver James Tyrrell and quarterback Nick Fitzgerald.

Blues

Shortly before the season kicked off, it was announced that to-be Blues QB Eric Dungey would be unable to attend because of a Bengals minicamp. It paid dividends for the young quarterback, as he was signed by the team shortly after. Although that is the purpose of The Spring League, it didn’t help the Blues this season.

This week, they look to solve that problem. Joining the team, fresh off the Sea Lions, is quarterback Nick Fitzgerald. He’ll also be accompanied by defensive back Quincy Mauger, defensive end Praise Martin-Oguike and defensive tackle Calvin Barnett.

Exiting the franchise is quarterback Deondrea Francois, defensive end Alema Collins, line backer Xavier Preston, defensive back DeMarcus Wilson and offensive linemen Donald Boone.

Generals

In another QB move for the South Division, the Generals have secured quarterback Deondre Francois from the Blues.

On their way out this week is quarterback DeVante Kincade and linebacker Antonio Wabanimkee.

Jousters

Rounding out the South Division is the Jousters, who are also looking to continue their winning ways. Jumping on board this week is running back Cameron Scarlett, defensive back Mercardo Anderson and running back CJ Okpalobi.

In a surprising exit we have running back Tim Cook joined by offensive linemen Edward Price. Also not returning, due to injury, is running back Lavon Colman.

The Spring League wasn’t joking when they said there a lot of quarterback moves this week. All, but one team moved one of their quarterbacks. As we’re creeping closer to the end of the season, the games are starting to get better and better.
