Former St. Louis BattleHawks QB Jordan Ta’amu has been signed to the Washington Football Team Practice squad. He joins former BattleHawk QB Taylor Heinicke in Washington.
Jordan Ta’amu has been with a few teams practice squads since the end of the 2020 XFL season. He had a couple stops in Kansas City, Detroit, and now he’s back in Washington.
Ta’amu was 97-134 with 1,050 yards for the BattleHawks during the shortened XFL season. He also had five touchdowns and two interceptions, as well as a 101.3 Rating.
Does this mean that the Washington Football Team is preparing for bad news with Heinicke’s injury? That remains to be seen, but as of now Ta’amu will be with the Football Team’s Practice Squad.
