Jordan Ta'amu and His Journey to the XFL

Jordan Ta’amu Set to Attend Washington Football Team Minicamp

The last couple weeks have been busy when it comes to former XFL starts getting invited to NFL mini-camps. First we saw former Dallas Renegades backup quarterback Eric Dungey get an invite from the Bengals. Now, we have former St. Louis BattleHawks quarterback Jordan Ta’amu getting tapped to join the upcoming Washington Football Team mini-camp.

As you probably already know, WTF has another former BattleHawks player on the roster. He even went toe-to-toe with Tom Brady in last years NFL playoffs. The two actually know each other quite well and it’s his former backup Taylor Heinicke.

Ta’amu just finished another stint with the Kansas City Chiefs, where it feels like he’s ben signed and dropped five times by now. He now look to continue his career in Washington with a former teammate.

When Ta’amu was dropped last week, we speculated that it wouldn’t take long for him land on his feet again. This looks to be the first step towards that goal. The move comes after it was revealed that Steven Montez wasn’t eligible for minicamp.

We hope to see Ta’amu land a spot in Washington, or any other NFL team for that matter. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes out.
