Tyree Jackson, the former QB turned Tight End, got to see some playing time for the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday, in their season finale against the Dallas Cowboys.
He made an impact almost immediately, with his first career catch also being his first career touchdown in the NFL.

Jackson has had quite the journey so far, with his last professional play coming in the XFL, when he was the backup to Cardale Jones in DC for the Defenders.
However, Jackson also suffered a torn ACL during the game, which means that he won’t be active for Philadelphia in their playoff game next week.
The MRI revealed bad news for #Eagles TE Tyree Jackson. Source says he has a torn ACL. Frustrating for Jackson and the team, as he’ll miss some valuable on-field time this spring and likely summer as he rehabs.

This is an unfortunate setback for the young athlete, who was finally making an impact on an NFL roster. Hopefully, he heals up quickly, and is able to get back on a professional football field next season.
