XFL Workouts To Be Held Weekly

XFL To Hold Weekly Workouts For Free Agents & Athletes

The XFL officially kicked off training camp this week. With both drafts in the rearview mirror, all eight teams are fully embracing the road to kickoff.

Interestingly enough, it has been brought to our attention that the XFL will be holding workouts for free agents. These workouts will be held on Tuesdays, per our sources.

While rosters are essentially set for training camp, the XFL is doing everything they can to ensure they have the best athletes come February. These free agent workouts could prove to be crucial. If certain players are underperforming, we could see them get cut, and new signees brought in for evaluation.

As of right now, it seems like XFL teams are allowed to schedule these Tuesday workouts for anyone they want to look at.

Michael Badejo XFL Workout

Michael Badejo is an edge out of Texas Southern, who was part of the XFL draft pool in November. Badejo has had multiple workouts with the XFL, including a session with the Orlando Guardians last year. Now, Badejo is being brought back in for a workout with the Guardians once again.

We were privileged enough to speak with Michael Badejo a couple of months ago. That interview can be found here. Currently, Badejo is set to play for the San Diego Strike Force of the IFL.

Final Thoughts

As the XFL season quickly approaches, expect plenty of moves to be made in training camp. There is no time to waste, as teams look to tighten up their rosters for kickoff. There is no doubt about it, this season is primed to be one of the XFL’s best, as every organization is bursting full of talent.
