Last week we reported that the XFL was planning to hold a town hall in Arlington, TX at the conclution of their Showcase events. It was then rumored that the league was going to reveal the cities and venues by the end of July. Naturally, this led fans online to speculate of the XFL would capitilize on the town hall and give the fans an announcment as well.
Today, we can confirm that the XFL does indeed plan on making some big announcements during the town hall. The league has sent out a media advisory stating that “The XFL will host a town hall at Texas Live! this Sunday, July 24, to officially announce the home cities and stadiums for the 2023 season”.
You’ll need to RSVP if you want to attend the event, but it seems that you either need to be a member of the media or a former Renegades season ticket holder.
Attending media will receive league and team updates from XFL executives, including Owner and Chairwoman Dany Garcia, and Owner Dwayne Johnson. Additionally, XFL President Russ Brandon and XFL Head Coaches will be in attendance.
