The XFL has officially sent two more players to the NFL. RB Jacques Patrick and DB Lavert Hill are signing NFL contracts, being the 53rd and 54th XFL players to do so.

First up, San Antonio Brahmas RB Jacques Patrick is headed to the Tennessee Titans. Patrick is a very unique story for the XFL.
Patrick played in the original rebrand of the XFL, back in 2020. He was with the Tampa Bay Vipers, and scored his first professional touchdown in a week four matchup against the DC Defenders.

From there, he earned a couple of stints in the NFL, including one with the Cincinnati Bengals. After becoming a free agent ahead of the XFL’s 2023 season, Jacques Patrick was picked up by the San Antonio Brahmas, and became one of their key offensive pieces.
Vintage Jacques Patrick here. Barrels through multiple defenders to set up first and goal.
He hasn't been at the same level he was in 2020, but Patrick is still one of the @XFL2023's best rushers when healthy. #XFLpic.twitter.com/34LWZr2RUP

In 2023, Jacques displayed his talents often, rushing for 443 yards and five touchdowns. His downhill running style makes him a tough back to contain, punishing defenses often.
Now, he has an opportunity with the NFL again, this time with the Tennessee Titans.
LaVert Hill
Reshuffle the deck at cornerback alert.
Steelers are bringing in Lavert Hill and are reportedly bringing in Nevelle Clark as well.
They waived / injured Duke Dawson and waived Isaiah Dunn.

St. Louis Battlehawks DB LaVert Hill has also signed to the NFL, joining the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hill joins Nevelle Clarke as two spring football athletes to sign with Pittsburgh this past week.
Hill finished the XFL 2023 season with 25 tackles and two interceptions, providing the Battlehawks defense with plenty of stability in the secondary. After a successful XFL tenure, Lavert gets to continue his professional career with the Steelers.

The XFL continues to prove why it belongs in the landscape of professional football. With 54 players signed to the NFL and counting, the league has stayed true to its promise, which is an encouraging sight.
