Tomasi Laulile is a spring football veteran. He played in the XFL 2.0 back in 2020, with the Dallas Renegades. From there, he went to The Spring League, earning a Championship berth with the Jousters.
Laulile then played in the USFL, for the Houston Gamblers. He posted 21 tackles and 0.5 sacks on the season, alongside an incredible fumble six. His performance earned a look from the 49ers that offseason.
Then, Tomasi played for the Arlington Renegades during the XFL’s 2023 season. He finished the year with nine tackles, and surprisingly scored the first touchdown of the year for Arlington with a pick six in week one against Vegas.

Now, Laulile gets to pursue his NFL dreams, being presented with another opportunity from San Francisco. This time, we’ll see if he can stick with the team.
Matthew Gotel | Seattle Seahawks
Matthew Gotel was a consistent force in the trenches for the San Antonio Brahmas. He finished the XFL 2023 season with 23 total tackles.
Gotel originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons, alongside a few other XFL alumni. However, he was quickly released from the team.

The Seattle Seahawks have now offered him another chance in the NFL, with week two of the preseason right around the corner.
With Tomasi Laulile’s contract – and Jordan Ta’amu signing to the Minnesota Vikings – the XFL has now sent 56 total players to the NFL. The league of opportunity continues to come through on its promise to their athletes.
