XFL Draft Set for Nov 16 According to Anthony Becht

The new XFL ownership group is steadily ramping up towards their 2023 return. It’s been a long road since 2020, but with team locations, venues and coaches revealed, fans are mainly waiting for team names, draft and kickoff.

We’ve heard reports that the XFL would be holding their draft in November this time around. In 2020, the league held their draft in October.

Well, it looks like we have some confirmation.

XFL St. Louis head coach Anthony Becht is in St. Louis this week, and he’s starting it off with a bang. He joined Karraker and Smallmon on ESPN 101 St. Louis, in which he mentioned that the XFL draft is set for November 16th.

Additionally, Becht said that St. Louis and DC would be sharing a facility in Arlington, TX.

There’s still no official word on if St. Louis would reclaim the BattleHawks monikur and logo, but we’d be surprised to see a change there.

We’ve heard reports that the XFL will be using a mix of names from 2020 and new for the relaunch. Coach Becht said in the past that we can expect to learn the team names in September, or October at the latest.
