It was rumored that the XFL would make an announcement on June 1st in regards to where they’ll be playing when they return in 2023. June 1st came and gone without so much as a tease from the new XFL ownership group.
Thanks to Aaron Wilson, it looks like we have the final list, as well as who will be assigned to each XFL city.

We’ve known some of these for a while, but not it has some extra validation. It not seems official that we’ll see the XFL return to Dallas, DC, Houston, Seattle and St. Louis. For fans of the Vipers, Guardians and Wildcats, it looks like your franchises are on the move.
One thing we’re still waiting to learn is if the XFL will re-brand any of the existing or moving teams with the return. Many were shocked when the new ownership group updated the mail logo, so we should expect some changes coming down the pipeline.
We’ve been reporting on many of these names and locations over the past year, and it looks like XFL Newsroom hit the mark once again.
