USFL Coaches Set to be Announced Tomorrow on The Herd

USFL Set to Reveal Final Two Head Coaches on The Herd

Last week the USFL revealed two more head coaches, leaving only two more to go. Initially, the media advisory that went outlast week said it would be all four, but when The Herd came the plans had changed.

With two left to go, fans were hoping we’d learn them this week. But, after the big USFL event at Protective, we had some bombshells; but no new coaches. Many were looking forward to seeing that announcement come through from the USFL, and patience paid off.

The wait is over! The USFL just announced on social media that the final two head coaches are set to be announced today live on The Herd.

This is no surprise, as the USFL has had a great working relationship with the program so far. The Herd has not only announced all of the head coaches so far, they also revealed the team names and logos.

After today, we’ll learn the remaining pieces of the puzzle and fans of the Michigan Panthers and New Orleans Breakers will definitely have something to be happy about.

The Herd starts at 12pm ET, so make sure you tune in to get the news as it drops live on FS1.

It’s been a busy year for the USFL so far and January’s not even over. We’ve learned about their player selection plans, player and staff incentives, the blockbuster deal with NBC and now all eight coaches.

The USFL has a lot of potential to do what a lot of the others couldn’t do; make spring football work. It was just this week that tickets went on sale for the inaugural game between the Stallions and the Generals, but we got even bigger news. For the first time since Super Bowl 1, a sporting event will be simulcast across two broadcast networks with NBC and FOX both airing the debut matchup.

Things are looking good for the league, we’ll just need to ride this wave of momentum until kickoff. Stay tuned to USFL Newsroom, we’ll keep you in the loop as more information comes in on the coaching hires and the upcoming USFL.
