UFL 2025 TV Ratings: Week 10 Stays Stable

The UFL’s regular season is officially complete, and the TV ratings are in. According to Mike Mitchell, the ratings from this weekend are as follows:

DC vs. St. Louis (FOX): 670,000
Michigan vs. Houston (ESPN): 398,000
San Antonio vs. Arlington (ABC): 740,000
Memphis vs. Birmingham (FOX): 625,000

At first glance, none of these numbers really pop off the charts – but with a week 10 full of meaningless games, it’s good to see the league maintain some stability.

Friday night’s outing between St. Louis and DC ended up seeing 670,000 tune in – the highest number for a Friday night since week four. Considering that there was a 40+ minute rain delay, that’s not a bad rating at all. There’s plenty of room for growth in that Friday window for FOX, but they had a couple of stronger outings to close the year, which is encouraging to see.

Saturday’s matchup on ESPN has an asterisk, as the first half of the game was only featured on ESPN+/ESPNews, which do not feature streaming numbers available. When the second half was on ESPN, it averaged 398,000 viewers. It’s a low rating, but it’s tough to expect much when the first half of the game wasn’t even aired on the network that was supposed to broadcast the game.

On Sunday, San Antonio and Arlington faced off in a meaningless week 10 matchup, one that was lopsided throughout most of the afternoon. It averaged 740,000 viewers on ABC. While it’s one of ABC’s lowest rated games of the season, given the circumstances, it isn’t surprising.

Finally, FOX’s afternoon matchup between Memphis and Birmingham was a blowout, and another game that didn’t matter. It saw 625,000 viewers throughout that affair, which is pretty average for that FOX saw for the majority of their games.

Looking at these numbers critically, they leave a lot to be desired, especially with the lack of competition. There’s a lot less going on in the sports landscape currently, compared to a few weeks ago with NHL/NBA playoffs in full swing.

That said, there are no signs of a serious dropoff, outside of ESPN’s outing which again – wasn’t aired for the first half.

Week 10 of the UFL’s regular season averaged 608,000 viewers per game – down from 951,000 a week ago. In addition, week 10 last year averaged 783,000 viewres per telecast.

  1. The UFL is snake bit this season. No NBA or NHL game Friday and there’s a 47min weather delay and rain trenched 1st half with a kow scoring game… UGH

The Sat ESPN game is delayed 1.5 hours for due to a college baseball game with Wake forest and who? Starts on ESPNNEWS? Ugh. This game should have been the ABC game.

ABC had so-so viewership for them. Was the game preempted in SA again? Still 741k was ok.

And Fox getting 625k for a blowout by Bham? not too bad for them but needs to do better.

BTW for the week I have 590k avg not 608k

Reg season I have 644k, better than USFL/XFL in 2023, but way down from UFL 2025.

The USFL conf champ game has 1 hr overlap with NBA finals – I hope that doesn’t hit the game too hard. Lets see if UFL can have a strong playoff and lift viewership above the 2023 634/631 XFL/USFL avg.
