Last night, The Spring League teased the internet with the logo of one of its new franchises. At the time, the name was yet-to-be announced, but they asked fans what they thought it was going to be named. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for us to get the answer. Just now, The Spring League unveiled The Sea Lions to the world.

Many fans were quick to notice that this was the logo of the A11’s Bay Area Sea Lions, which never saw the light of day. Well, the vision lives on in The Spring League.
Just earlier is was revealed that The Spring League would be returning May 6th with two extra teams and a six-week season. At the moment, TSL is finalizing its TV schedule with FOX Sports. The league is going to play out of two hub cities, one in Indianapolis and the other in Houston.
There is still one more franchise to be revealed, but with the season right around the corner we wouldn’t doubt if we see it sooner rather than later. We’ll keep you updated as more details on the upcoming Spring League season become available.
