Sullivan Branding Announces Marketing Partnership With USFL

Sullivan Branding, an integrated communications and brand transformation agency, has officially partnered with Fox Sports and the USFL for the 2023 season. Sullivan Branding will assist in introducing the Memphis Showboats to the mid-south market.

This is excellent news for the USFL. Sullivan Branding, while serving the entire country, is based out of Memphis. Clearly, this played a major role in the two organizations partnering together.

It’s going to be an interesting scene in Memphis this year. The Showboats were not part of season one in the USFL. The league decided to bring the franchise back for season two, instead of sticking with the Tampa Bay Bandits. On top of that, a Memphis hub was announced.

The Houston Gamblers will play in the city as well, alongside the Showboats. Clearly, USFL leadership sees Memphis as a bigtime player heading into season two.

Bringing Sullivan Branding into the mix is a smart move. First and foremost, the firm is based out of Memphis. They already have local connections that the league may not have, which is an asset.

Secondly, the USFL can allocate specific work that would have been done internally (i.e. marketing campaigns, promos, etc.) to the organization. Sullivan Branding clearly knows what they’re doing, which is why FOX Sports decided to partner with them.

It’s wonderful to see the USFL expanding in so many ways as we head towards 2023. The Memphis Showboats will certainly be rocking the house in season two, and we can’t wait to see it.
