San Antonio Brahmas Sign Trevon Coley, Lose Tariqious Tisdale

As the UFL playoffs approach, the San Antonio Brahmas have seen a bit of movement. DT Trevon Coley has signed with the team, following DE Tariqious Tisdale being placed on the retired list.

Trevon Coley brings plenty of professional experience to the table for San Antonio. He was with the Arlington Renegades in Training Camp, but was let go prior to week one.

Trevon spent several years in the NFL, playing in 44 games with the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and Arizona Cardinals. Coley racked up 100 tackles and 3.5 sacks across that span.

Trevon has also had a couple of opportunities with the Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans. Most recently, the Miami Dolphins brought him in for a workout this past fall.

Trevon Coley had an outstanding tenure at Florida Atlantic, with 194 tackles and 13.5 sacks to his name. After spending the entire UFL season as a free agent, he lands with the Brahmas for the final stretch.

Tariqious Tisdale

Tariqious Tisdale being placed on the retired list is rather strange. The former Seattle Sea Dragon landed with the DC Defenders, but was let go during Training Camp, like Coley.

Tisdale was recently picked up by San Antonio since they were dealing with defensive injuries. He played in week 10’s matchup against St. Louis, seeing the field on 18 snaps, with one tackle and QB hurry to his name.

For whatever reason, Tariqious will not be with the team for the playoffs.
