In their latest batch of re-signings, the San Antonio Brahmas have brought back four familiar faces. Offensive linemen Sam Tecklenburg and Chuck Filiaga are back, while wide receiver Marquez Stevenson and safety Jordan Mosley have also agreed to terms for the 2025 UFL season.

WR Marquez Stevenson
Marquez Stevenson was an offseason addition for the Brahmas, and proved to be a fantastic piece for A.J. Smith’s offense. He immediately made an impact, starting in nine of 12 games played in this season. Stevenson is a versatile player, and one that is constantly in motion behind the line of scrimmage.
In his first season in the UFL, Marquez totaled 33 receptions for 265 yards and two touchdowns. He was also utilized as a kick returner, with 11 returns for 218 yards.

Stevenson’s electrifying speed made it difficult for defenders to keep up, which is why A.J. loves to move him around pre-snap so often. He’s one of the best in the league, and having him back in San Antonio is excellent news for this Brahmas offense.
OL Chuck Filiaga
Filiaga also joined San Antonio during the offseason, originally as a Letter Of Intent signing with Houston – before Wade Phillips and his staff made the move to the Brahmas. With all of the injuries to the offensive line this year, Chuck was an important piece, as he stayed healthy the entire season. He started in eight of 12 games played, moving between left and right tackle.
Chuck had a quick stint with the Minnesota Vikings this past preseason, but now returns to San Antonio after his release.
C Sam Tecklenburg
One of the unsung heroes of this San Antonio Brahmas team in 2024 was Sam Tecklenburg. He began the year as the backup center, but took on the starting role when Alex Mollette went down with an injury early in the year.
Tecklenburg ended up playing in every game this year during the regular season, with a 65.6 Offensive Grade via PFF (73.8 Pass Block/58.0 Run Block). With Mollette getting healthy again for the playoffs, Sam did not get any snaps there. That said, he showcased why San Antonio pursued him in the first place for this season, as his quality play allowed the Brahmas to keep the ball rolling without Mollette in the lineup.
S Jordan Mosley
Another standout playmaker in San Antonio this year was Jordan Mosley. He ended up posting 75 tackles in the UFL – finishing in second place behind Willie Harvey Jr. (STL). Mosley started in the first nine games of the year, but an injury sidelined him in week 10. Had he not missed that matchup, he likely would’ve been the leading tackler in the UFL.
Jordan Mosley totaled 75 tackles, two TFL’s, 0.5 sacks, an interception, a PBU, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. The stat sheet was stuffed every single week by Mosley, who was one of the captains and leaders of Will Reed’s defense.

Unfortunately, Jordan couldn’t stay healthy in the postseason. He missed the Championship game against Birmingham. Despite this, Jordan was one of the top safeties in the UFL in 2024, and now looks to run it back in 2025.
Final Thoughts
The genius of Marc Lillibridge this past offseason has turned San Antonio into one of spring football’s most formidable foes. They stacked the roster with quality pieces, such as the ones who just re-signed. Now, the Brahmas don’t exactly have to re-do their team – instead, they’ll look to bring back most of the same faces, with a few new additions to boot.
