The Arlington Renegades made three offensive additions on Tuesday. WR Tyler Vaughns has re-signed, while offensive linemen Blake Larson and Mark Evans have made their way to the fold ahead of the 2025 UFL season.
WR Tyler Vaughns
Breaking: The Arlington Renegades have re-signed WR Tyler Vaughns.
Vaughns was a key wideout for the @XFLRenegades in 2024, recording 503 yards (4th in the #UFL) & 3 TD's.

Just a day after re-signing Luis Perez, the Arlington Renegades have gotten their top target from 2024 back. Tyler Vaughns has officially returned, which is excellent news for this Renegades roster.
Vaughns has spent the last two seasons in Arlington, seeing a larger role from year to year. In the XFL, Tyler recorded 302 receiving yards and a touchdown – and also added 112 yards and a score in the postseason as they won the Championship that year.
LUIS PEREZ. This man cannot be stopped. This is the fourth time he's playing DC's defense in 2023 – and absolutely has their number tonight.

In the UFL, Vaughns was sensational. He totaled 503 receiving yards and three touchdowns, showing out as a top target in Chuck Long’s offense all year. Tyler was targeted 71 times in 2024, up from 47 targets the year prior.
Vaughns is a taller receiver who’s got tremendous route running abilities. He was cooking DB’s all season long – most notably in week three, against DC. Anthoula Kelly had zero answers for Tyler, who recorded 109 yards and a score in that game.
Over the past couple of weeks in the #UFL, Tyler Vaughns has emerged as WR1 for Luis Perez and the @XFLRenegades. Looking at the stats, it's easy to see why:
– Week 2: 5 catches, 58 yards
– Week 3: 9 catches (13 targets), 109 yards, 1 TD
– 79.1 Offensive Grade via @PFF (77.0… pic.twitter.com/L3Mv56Hm6f— James Larsen (@JamesLarsenPFN) April 18, 2024
Now, Tyler will run it back for another year in Arlington – something that all Renegades fans wanted to see.
OT Blake Larson & OG Mark Evans
The Arlington Renegades were a little thin on the offensive line, and addressed that with the signings of Blake Larson and Mark Evans.
Breaking: The Arlington Renegades have added OT Blake Larson & OG Mark Evans to their roster.
Larson played his college football at Augustana, and recently had a stint with the #Rams.

Larson is an intriguing pickup as a young prospect out of Augustana (SD). Throughout his college career at Augustana, Blake received First Team All-NSIC honors multiple times – and was part of an offensive line unit that saw some excellent production over the years.
Larson was a team captain as a senior, and eventually landed with the Los Angeles Rams coming out of college. He spent a bit of time with LA, but has since remained a free agent.
On the other hand, Mark Evans was formerly a USFL College Draft pick by Zach Potter and the Birmingham Stallions. They have evidently rescinded his rights, allowing GM Rick Mueller to bring Evans into the fold in Arlington.
Mark Evans II has signed with Arlington, per @JamesLarsenPFN.
Evans was a '23 draft pick of the Stallions. As with Zeke Vandenburgh, the Stallions waived their rights to him.
Stallions were able to add some solid OL Fs this offseason & were comfortable letting Evans go. https://t.co/ebMAv1k72D

Evans played all of his college ball at UA Pine Bluff, and served as a starter during his final few seasons. He earned FCS Offensive Lineman of the Year as a senior, was All-American, and All-SWAC First Team. Mark was ranked as the #2 HBCU product in the nation according to ESPN in 2023.
Mark was signed by the Saints as an UDFA in 2023, and remained on the practice squad until this past August. Now, he’ll look to get his pro career off the ground in the UFL, with the Arlington Renegades.
