Rapid City Marshals Jump from CIF to Arena Football League (AFL)

Earlier this year the arena football world was rocked when it was revealed that the Arena Football League (AFL) would be returning in 2024. Since then we’ve seen the league slowly roll out more and more information on their upcoming return season.

Yesterday it was announced that the Albany Firebirds were headed to the AFL. This was quite the surprise for AFL fans, because until then it sounded like the team was going to land in the IFL.

Not to be outshined, the Rapid City Marshals plan to announce their move from the CIF to the AFL today.

Late last month the Marshals held a press conference, in which they introduced quite possibly the most interesting piece of promotional matierial.

Needless to say, it looks as if the Marshals have a solid marketing team behind the franchise.

The Rapid City Marshals are natrually based in Rapid City, South Dakota and will play their home games at the Summit Arena at The Monument.

The AFL isn’t done either. Word on the street is that we may get official word that the Massachusetts Pirates will be joining the league this week as well.
