Patton has been an integral piece to Pittsburgh’s offensive line through two USFL seasons. In 2023, Patton started in all ten regular season games for the Maulers, and helped lead the team to the Championship game.
Now, the former Northern Illinois standout is locked into the USFL for another season, which is excellent news for Ray Horton’s offense.
Pittsburgh has been quite busy this offseason. So far, they have re-signed quite a few key pieces both offensively and defensively, including:
RB Madre London
DT Terry Beckner Jr.
DT Will Miles
DE Nasir Player
CB Keith Gipson Jr.
S Malcolm Elmore
In addition, they hired a new GM, bringing in Dennis Polian to replace Lonnie Young.
Heading into the 2024 USFL season, the Pittsburgh Maulers will look to build upon a 4-6 record, falling just short in the Championship game.
