Pittsburgh Maulers Re-Sign All-USFL WR/PR Isiah Hennie

Isiah Hennie is back with the Pittsburgh Maulers. One of the most electrifying playmakers is set to return to Ray Horton’s squad for another season, having re-signed with the team today.

During the 2022 USFL season, Isiah Hennie came into his own down the stretch of the season. He made quite a few big-time plays, racking up 198 receiving yards and three touchdowns to his name.

In 2022, Isiah may have been best known for a ferocious hit he endured during a week nine matchup against the Philadelphia Stars. Cody Brown, the hard-hitting defender, belted Hennie out of bounds up the sidelines – knocking out his tooth in the process.

Isiah Hennie saw an even bigger role during the 2023 USFL season. He played in all ten regular season games, starting in six of them. Hennie posted 474 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in 2023.

In addition, Hennie was an absolute star on special teams. He earned All-USFL honors this season as a punt returner, showcasing his dazzling abilities early on, with a touchdown in week one against New Orleans.

Isiah finished the year with 297 punt return yards, averaging 17.5 yards per return. Those are both modern USFL records in their respective categories.

In the postseason, Hennie recorded 14 receptions for 138 yards, and led the team with 55 yards receiving in the USFL Championship game.
