Philadelphia Stars Sign Free Agent RB Seth Rowland For 2024

The Philadelphia Stars have made another free agency move, this time signing FA running back Seth Rowland out of Tennessee State.

So far, the Philadelphia Stars are the only team who have made any public moves during this new USFL free agency period. Just yesterday, they re-signed wide receiver Chris Rowland – who just so happens to be Seth’s brother.

Seth Rowland played collegiately at Tennessee State, from 2016-2019. In 2017, he rushed for 421 yards on 94 carries, notching two touchdowns.

During his senior season in 2019, Rowland made an impact both offensively, and on special teams. He played in all twelve games, posting 427 rushing yards and three touchdowns en route to what was a successful final year at Tennessee State.

Most recently, Seth Rowland played overseas in Finland. He had an outstanding season with the United Newland Crusaders, and made the All-Star team, while also being named Returner Of The Year.

Rowland was quite busy during the Finnish season, racking up:

1,245 rushing yards
580 receiving yards
770 return yards

After a successful season overseas, Seth Rowland now joins the Philadelphia Stars – and his brother – in a quest to help the team return to the postseason in 2024.
