So far, the Philadelphia Stars are the only team who have made any public moves during this new USFL free agency period. Just yesterday, they re-signed wide receiver Chris Rowland – who just so happens to be Seth’s brother.
Seth Rowland played collegiately at Tennessee State, from 2016-2019. In 2017, he rushed for 421 yards on 94 carries, notching two touchdowns.
During his senior season in 2019, Rowland made an impact both offensively, and on special teams. He played in all twelve games, posting 427 rushing yards and three touchdowns en route to what was a successful final year at Tennessee State.
Most recently, Seth Rowland played overseas in Finland. He had an outstanding season with the United Newland Crusaders, and made the All-Star team, while also being named Returner Of The Year.
After a successful season overseas, Seth Rowland now joins the Philadelphia Stars – and his brother – in a quest to help the team return to the postseason in 2024.
During the offseason, General Manager Michael Woods has re-signed, or signed the following players:
WR Jordan Suell WR Chris Rowland OL Jacob Burton OT Jordan Steckler OG Warren Ericson DT Auzoyah Alufohai DT Cedrick Lattimore DE Adam Rodriguez LB Gabriel Sewell Jr. K Luis Aguilar LS Ryan Navarro
