Philadelphia Stars Re-Sign LS Ryan Navarro For 2024

Philadelphia Stars Re-Sign LS Ryan Navarro For 2024

The Philadelphia Stars have announced their last re-signing before the opening of USFL free agency today with LS Ryan Navarro, the team announced on X yesterday.

Ryan joined the Stars in 2022, where he was the last pick of the inaugural USFL draft. He has appeared in every single game for the Stars since he was picked. Ryan was no stranger to spring football, either, as he was a member of the AAF Memphis Express in 2019, and the XFL Los Angeles Wildcats in 2020.

He was able to garner NFL interest after his 2022 season, where he had a workout with the Denver Broncos.

Ryan Navarro has consistently been one of the top long snappers in the USFL. Kicker Luis Aguilar won All-USFL honors during the 2023 season, which would not have been possible without the excellence of Navarro.

With this seemingly being Philadelphia’s last re-signing as free agency opens today, the Stars are letting the following players walk:

WR Chris Rowland
WR Diondre Overton
TE Pro Wells
G Colby Ragland
G Jahair Jones
C Chris Perez
C Sean Brown
DL Ralph Holley
DL Cedrick Lattimore
CB Mazzi Wilkins
CB Amani Dennis
S LaDarius Wiley
S Evan Worthington
S Joshua Moon

Of course, the Philadelphia Stars can still sign them if they were to go unsigned.
