Dexter Williams, a running back for the Philadelphia Stars, has made it to the NFL. After impressing in the USFL Championship game, Williams now signs a contract with the Green Bay Packers.

Interestingly enough, Williams had not been with the Stars for long. Since Matt Colburn went down with an injury in the semi-finals, Bart Andrus needed another running back. Dexter signed with the team, and filled that role quite well in the final game of the season.

Williams proved to be much more than just a running back. In fact, he only ran for 29 yards against Birmingham – but, he caught a few passes for 73 yards. His impact was seen throughout the entirety of the game, despite joining the team that week.

This isn’t his first rodeo with Green Bay, either. Williams had been drafted by the Packers in the sixth round back in 2019. Now he rejoins the team after impressing in the USFL, alongside the workout he had with them yesterday.
