Following a strong campaign with the Dallas Renegades, cornerback Shaun Wade is officially back in the NFL. He’s signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, after interest from Cleveland, New York, and Chicago.
Wade was a new face in the UFL this year, and one who made his mark early. In the first four weeks of the year, Shaun had already racked up three interceptions, as a ballhawk who excelled despite the tough assignments he was designated with.
He started in all eight games he played in this year, totaling 28 tackles, six defensive stops, a forced fumble, three interceptions, and five pass breakups. Wade had a strong 84.3 Defensive Grade, via PFF.

Wade is a former fifth round NFL draft pick with the Baltimore Ravens, selected in 2021. He was traded to the Patriots before his rookie season even began, and stuck there for a couple of years. Most recently, Wade was with the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Chargers in 2024-2025.
Shaun was a star at Ohio State, earning the Tatum-Woodson Big Ten Defensive Back of the Year award at the end of the 2020 season. He’s a veteran corner, who brings plenty of experience to this Eagles secondary.
