Anthony Becht and the Orlando Storm continue to stack talent, even as they head into the playoffs. RB Deuce Vaughn was added to the team’s roster late last weekend, bringing even more depth – and NFL-caliber potential – to the organization.
Orlando already features a strong backfield. They roster Jashaun Corbin (led UFL in rushing yards in 2025), Elijah Dotson, and Tre Stewart – two other backs who have NFL experience.
Now, Deuce Vaughn joins the fold. At 5’5”, he is the shortest running back to ever be measured and selected in the modern NFL draft era. The Dallas Cowboys drafted him in the sixth round in 2023, and Vaughn ended up playing with the team for a couple of years. In 2023, he had 110 rushing yards, to go with 10 receptions.
Deuce landed in Denver following his time in Dallas. The Broncos primarily kept him on the practice squad, and he was released this past May.
Vaughn may not see much action this year in the UFL, depending on how things shake out in Orlando. He hasn’t even practiced with the team yet, and they are preparing for a Championship run. That said, if there are injuries – or if they simply need another explosive playmaker active – he is a plug-and-play type of candidate who can do a few things for this team.

In three seasons of college at Kansas State, Deuce was a machine. He totaled 3,604 rushing yards, 34 rushing touchdowns, 1,250 receiving yards, and nine receiving scores across just three seasons. Seeing how Orlando utilizes a guy like Chris Rowland, Vaughn could end up playing a similar role.
