OL Alec Lindstrom & DB Myles Dorn Sign UFL Contracts

UFL Free Agency has been quite busy as of late. Last night, Alec Lindstrom and Myles Dorn were part of a batch of several signees to the league, with the Arlington Renegades and Memphis Showboats.

OL Alec Lindstrom | Memphis Showboats

Alec Lindstrom brings more depth and talent to the Showboats offensive line, following a two year stint with the Dallas Cowboys. Alec spent the last couple of seasons with Dallas, and was activated for one game in 2022.

Lindstrom had an excellent career at Boston College, starting in his final 35 games played there. He earned First-team All-ACC honors twice, mainly as a center.

DB Myles Dorn | Arlington Renegades

The Renegades just got stronger in their secondary with the addition of Myles Dorn. Dorn brings plenty of NFL experience to the table. He spent two years in Minnesota with the Vikings, seeing action in 14 games – totaling five tackles. Myles also had an opportunity with the Miami Dolphins.

Myles Dorn played his college football at North Carolina, and was tremendous. He posted 241 tackles and six interceptions, earning an Honorable mention All-ACC selection in 2019.

The Arlington Renegades made some moves in their secondary already. The team chose not to protect several starters, including athletes like De’Vante Bausby, Will Hill, and Joe Powell. With Dorn signing to the team, one would expect him to be a prospect who could fill one of those roles.

Final Thoughts

It’s been a frenzy in UFL free agency, since it opened last week. Teams have been signing new players left and right, with a lot of returning athletes signing LOI’s as well.

The Memphis Showboats currently have 77 players on their roster, as DL Jordan Williams decided to take a gig with the Toronto Argonauts.

The Arlington Renegades, on the other hand, roster 67 players, leaving eight openings for training camp.
