Another XFL athlete is headed to the NFL. DB Darren Evans, who just won the XFL Championship with the Arlington Renegades, has signed with the New York Giants.

Evans was one of the stronger defensive backs in the XFL, serving as an integral piece in a stout Arlington defense.
Darren Evans started seven of nine games played with the Arlington Renegades, posting five tackles and an interception.
His sole interception of the season came at an opportune time. As time expired in a game against the San Antonio Brahmas, Darren Evans picked off Jack Coan, which handed Arlington a crucial win on the road.
The @Giants sign former @XFLRenegades and @XFL2023 Champion DB Darren Evans.

Due to some of the injuries the New York Giants are facing, they’re bringing in Evans as a replacement. This isn’t the first NFL interest he received after the XFL season concluded, as he also received an invite to the Seattle Seahawks Mini-Camp.
Darren is just one example of the opportunities that the XFL has presented to their players, with 31 athletes signed to NFL teams since the season ended.
Hopefully, all goes well for Evans in Training Camp with the New York Giants. The talent is there, all he needed was a chance.
