New Jersey Generals Re-Sign Edge Tyshun Render For 2024

New Jersey Generals Re-Sign Edge Tyshun Render For 2024

The New Jersey Generals made a late night move right before free agency hit. The team has officially re-signed Tyshun Render, edge rusher, for the 2024 USFL season.

Tyshun Render has been with the New Jersey Generals for the past two seasons in the USFL. In 2022, he posted solid numbers, finishing the year with 28 tackles and 1.5 sacks.

Render was arguably on pace for an even stronger 2023 campaign, posting 15 tackles and 3.5 sacks in just six games (six starts).

He ultimately missed the rest of the year with an injury, and did not play during the final few weeks of action after being placed on the suspended list. Render remains on the suspended list at the moment, even after re-signing.

Tyshun Render played his college ball at Middle Tennessee State, where he was tremendous. In just four years he registered 119 tackles, and 6.5 sacks.

Now, he’s set to return to the New Jersey Generals for the 2024 USFL season.
