Michigan Panthers Release LB London Harris

With all of the transactions the Michigan Panthers completed yesterday, another move was made today. The team released LB London Harris, who was signed just a few weeks ago.

With the additions of DaShaun White and Vantrel McMillan – who already had stints with the Panthers – there seemingly wasn’t room for Harris.

London Harris signed back in week seven, following an injury to Frank Ginda. London played his college football at Texas State, where he played some fantastic football down the stretch of his career.

This led to NFL Mini-Camp stints with the Falcons and Colts. After being a free agent for several months, the Michigan Panthers picked London up, and immediately put him to work.

According to PFF, London finished the season with a 66.9 Defensive Grade, with 49 snaps on defense. He assisted on a few tackles, and also played 45 snaps on special teams.

As a young prospect with plenty of potential, it would not be surprising to see the Michigan Panthers bring London back at some point. Additionally, he could also get looked at by other UFL teams.
