Michigan Panthers Re-Sign P Kyle Kramer For 2024 Season

You can’t re-sign Cole Murphy without re-signing his partner in crime, Kyle Kramer. The Michigan Panthers have officially brought back their trusty punter, who returns for another season in the USFL.

Kyle Kramer, like Murphy, was signed midseason in 2022 by the Michigan Panthers. This was due to Michael Carrizosa being released.

Kramer performed quite well in 2022, finishing the season with 16 punts for 746 yards – averaging 46.6 YPP.

In 2023, Kyle built upon his campaign – serving as one of the most consistent punters in the USFL. Kramer sent 39 punts for a total of 1,665 yards, averaging 42.7 YPP. His longest boot of the year went for 59 yards.

Additionally, ten of his 39 punts landed inside the opponents 20 yard line (26%), and 14 of his punts went for more than 50 yards.

With Kyle Kramer and Cole Murphy back in Michigan, the Panthers can breathe a sigh of relief knowing they will have quality special teams play once again in 2024. Now, all they need is for Long Snapper Shane Griffin to re-sign, and the trio will be back together.
