Miami Dolphins Signing St. Louis Battlehawks LB Mike Rose

The St. Louis Battlehawks have sent another player to the NFL. Linebacker Mike Rose is signing with the Miami Dolphins as of today, making him the 38th XFL to NFL athlete this offseason.

Mike Rose took the XFL by storm before the season even began. In training camp, he laid a brutal hit on a fellow teammate, which went viral on social media.

During the XFL 2023 season, Rose played in eight games for the St. Louis Battlehawks, starting eight of them. He racked up 35 tackles during the year, providing the team with consistency on the defensive side of the football.

After a successful workout with the Miami Dolphins, Mike Rose has officially signed. This isn’t his first rodeo in the NFL. Rose had a brief stint with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022.

In college, Mike was sensational for Iowa State. In 2020, he led all college linebackers with five interceptions. Additionally, he posted 96 tackles that year – and compiled at least 70 tackles every college season.

Now, he has another opportunity to pursue his NFL dreams, thanks to the national platform that the XFL provided him with.
