Fletcher was a part of the 2023 USFL Collegiate Draft (selected in the 10th round), but opted not to play with Memphis this past season.
For the first four years of his college career, Antonio Fletcher played with Arkansas State. There, he performed impressively well, racking up 137 total tackles and two interceptions. Out of the 41 games he played, Fletcher started 23.
Antonio then transferred to Southern Illinois, where he registered 39 total tackles and two TFL in 11 games with the team.

Right now, the Memphis Showboats have six safeties on the roster:
Antonio Fletcher
Antonio Reed
Kyree Woods
Lamont McPhatter II
Stephen Griffin
T.J. Green
Something to keep an eye on will be if Memphis decides to retain all six safeties before the 2024 season. Training camp doesn’t begin until March of 2024. Also, Fletcher is guaranteed a roster spot for Training Camp, since he is a new signing.
