Guy Myers began his college career at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M JC. He played in eleven games in 2018, throwing for 1,329 yards and 12 touchdowns.
From there, Myers transferred to Charleston. He saw limited time from 2019-2020, compiling 852 yards and six touchdowns across that span.
It wasn’t until 2021 when Guy had his “breakout” campaign. Myers completed 65.2% of his pass attempts, registering 1,817 yards and 12 touchdowns through the air. In addition, he showcased his mobility, racking up 509 rushing yards and nine rushing scores that year.
Despite the release, Guy put his head down and continued to grind. He was recently signed by the Carolina Cobras in arena football. Myers also attended GRID Camps event on October 15th, and was excellent. He was clearly one of the top quarterbacks at the workout, which was certainly noticed by USFL personnel in attendance.
Now, Myers has re-signed with his former team. The Memphis Showboats are one of the teams confirmed to make it into the new league, and now sign another signal caller ahead of the dispersal draft process.
