P.J. Hall has been around the block in the professional football scene, both in the NFL and also in spring football.
Hall played his collegiate ball at Sam Houston State, where he was a standout product that posted 280 tackles and 36.5 sacks across five seasons. Due to P.J.’s dominance, he was sought after by multiple NFL organizations coming out of college.
PJ was a 2nd round pick in the NFL draft by the Oakland Raiders and also spent some time with the Houston Texans. Most recently saw time in the XFL with Brahmas/Sea Dragons.#USFL#GoBoats 🚢 pic.twitter.com/pHnD9uE3Sv

P.J. Hall then spent the next couple of years trying to make it back to an NFL roster, following a suspension. This led him to the XFL, where he played with two teams during the 2023 season.
Hall began the year with the Seattle Sea Dragons, posting five tackles in three games played. He then was moved to the San Antonio Brahmas after release, but did not see any playing time. On July 10th, Hall was released by San Antonio.
Now, he’s set to join the Memphis Showboats for the 2024 USFL season, in an effort to revive his professional career.
GM Dave Razzano has been busy this offseason, re-signing dozens of players while also bringing in some new faces. The team will be without Todd Haley in 2024, but that hasn’t stopped them from making moves.
