Memphis Showboats Re-Sign OT Darrin Paulo After NFL Stint

The Memphis Showboats continue to build their offensive line for the 2024 season. OT Darrin Paulo has signed back to the team, following a stint in the NFL for the past year.

Darrin Paulo played in the USFL during their inaugural season, with the Tampa Bay Bandits. He was signed late in the season, and did not get any action during the final games of the year.

However, Paulo was picked up by the Detroit Lions shortly after the USFL season concluded. He was primarily on the practice squad for the last year, only getting playing time during the preseason.

During the past NFL cutdowns heading into the 2023 season, Paulo was released by the Lions. He has been a free agent ever since, and now returns to familiar territory with the Memphis Showboats.

The Showboats have been busy this USFL offseason so far, and now bring back Paulo for 2024. GM Dave Razzano has signed a couple of linemen since the season ended, as the team brought in OG Chance Lytle back in August.
