Memphis Showboats Re-Sign NT Daylon Mack For 2024

Memphis Showboats Re-Sign NT Daylon Mack For 2024

The Memphis Showboats have re-signed another defensive player ahead of the 2024 USFL season. NT Daylon Mack returns for a second stint with the team, having re-signed yesterday.

Daylon Mack joined the organization during the 2022 season, playing under the Tampa Bay Bandits branding. Mack was solid, finishing the year with 28 total tackles and 0.5 sacks.

Unfortunately, his 2023 tenure wouldn’t see the same success. After playing in the first two games, Mack’s season came to an end with an injury. He finished 2023 with one total tackle.

Now, Daylon Mack re-signs in hopes to rebound with a healthy campaign in 2024. Mack has some NFL experience, with both the Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens. In 2019, he made an appearance in one regular season game for Baltimore.

Mack had an outstanding career at Texas A&M. He posted 108 tackles and eight sacks during his time at the school.

So far, Dave Razzano and the Memphis Showboats have become more active in re-signing athletes on expiring contracts, including:

OL Matt Burrell
OL Chance Lytle
DE Jeremiah Valoaga
EDGE Greg Reaves
LB Anthony Butler
LB T.J. Neal
S Antonio Fletcher
LS Ryan DiSalvo
P Brandon Wright

After a 5-5 record during the 2023 USFL season, the Memphis Showboats will look to secure a postseason berth for the first time in modern history next year.
