Seattle Seahawks Signing Memphis Showboats LB Jordan Ferguson USFL

Memphis Showboats Re-Sign Edge Jordan Ferguson For 2024

Jordan Ferguson is back. The Memphis Showboats have officially brought back the talented edge rusher, who is fresh off an NFL opportunity with the Seattle Seahawks.

Despite joining the team midseason in the USFL, Jordan Ferguson made an impact. The Memphis Showboats quickly utilized Jordan, who posted seven tackles and two sacks in just four games.

Ferguson garnered NFL interest right after the season ended. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks, who he had spent time with in rookie mini-camp earlier on.

After arriving, Jordan Ferguson made an immediate splash, posting a sack during the first preseason game.

He was released during preseason, but then re-signed with Seattle ahead of their final game. There, he made plays once again, most notably stuffing the Packers on a key fourth down play.

Unfortunately, he was ultimately released by Seattle during NFL cutdowns. Now, Jordan Ferguson is set to return to the Memphis Showboats for the 2024 USFL season.

GM Dave Razzano has been busy in the offseason, re-signing the following athletes:

OL Matt Burrell
OL Chance Lytle
DE Jeremiah Valoaga
DT Daylon Mack
EDGE Greg Reaves
LB Anthony Butler
LB T.J. Neal
S Antonio Fletcher
LS Ryan DiSalvo
