For a second straight season, Steven Gilmore is back in the NFL. Gilmore, following a UFL campaign with the Birmingham Stallions, has been signed by the Los Angeles Rams.
For a second straight year in Birmingham, Gilmore was one of the team’s leading defensive backs. Despite being a bit undersized, Steven has shown his ability to take on some of the toughest assignments week in and week out.
Gilmore finished the year with 43 tackles, three pass breakups, and an interception. In week eight, he absolutely dominated – with a key interception, alongside a blocked field goal he returned to the house himself.
Steven joined the Stallions in 2025, proving to be one of the strongest additions to that DB room of anyone in the league. He started in all 11 games that Birmingham played that year, boasting a strong 73.2 Defensive Grade, alongside a 74.1 Coverage Grade. Gilmore totaled 43 tackles, 13 Defensive Stops, and 8 PBU’s during his time with the Stallions in 2025.
Last season, Steven was signed by the Arizona Cardinals. This time, he’ll remain in the same division, but with the Rams. Los Angeles currently rosters Stallions safety Alex Cook, who was Gilmore’s teammate in Birmingham this past campaign.
