At this rate, Chris Redman is going to be rich off of coaching bonuses with the amount of Louisville Kings signing to the NFL. On Tuesday, two more made their way to the big leagues. LB Antonio Grier Jr. was signed by the Chicago Bears, while safety Quindell Johnson landed with the Washington Commanders.

Not surprisingly, Antonio Grier makes his way back to the NFL after a solid campaign in the UFL. Grier won a Championship with the Louisville Kings, seeing the field for 193 snaps as a rotational piece. He racked up 25 tackles, two pass breakups, and a pick six.
Collegiately, Antonio was a standout at USF. Antonio earned Second-team All-AAC in back to back seasons, leading USF with 92 tackles, eight TFL’s, and three sacks during the 2021 campaign. This earned him a look with the Tampa Bay Bucs, where he was a preseason legend with multiple interceptions to his name.
Antonio is a young backer who still has plenty of potential at the pro level. The Chicago Bears haven’t seen much out of fellow UFL’er LB Tony Fields II – so it’ll be intriguing to see if Grier gets any playing time in the final preseason game.

The Washington Commanders have consistently looked to the UFL over the past week or two. They signed Kings TE Tre’ McKitty last week, and now bring in Quindell Johnson – a safety who ended up seeing legitimate field time down the stretch for Louisville.
Collegiately, Quindell was a star at Memphis, totaling 320 tackles and 10 interceptions. Quindell is a “do-it-all” type of safety, which was put on full display in the UFL. In his first week of action, Johnson was named as the UFL’s special teams player of the week, with four tackles on special teams alone.
Quindell was signed by the Chicago Bears as an UDFA, spending a little over a year with the team. Johnson was a preseason legend with the franchise, recording an interception and several big plays.
